Admissions

Dear Parent,

I am pleased that you are considering The Garden School to meet the early childhood education needs for your child. Choosing a school that supports Jewish values and teachings is one of the most significant decisions your family will ever make. I am confident that you will be pleased with the quality and dedication of our staff, the curriculum, and our outstanding facilities.

The Garden School welcomes families from all walks of life to its preschool. Please read on below for more on the admissions process.

Sincerely,

Alexandra Kayman
Preschool Director

Admissions Process

1. Application Forms

2. School Visit

All families are invited to tour the school and talk informally with the admissions staff. Our Director will give you a tour of our facility and get to know your individual interests and expectations.

3. Review

This phase occurs after all parts of the application have been received and the student and family visits are completed. Families are kept up to date on the status of each application, especially if teacher recommendations or school records have not been received. For each applicant, the Director meets with the faculty members who observed the student. The completed application is then discussed with the Admissions Committee.

4. Notification

If you need assistance in completing the application, or for any other information, please call the office.

It is the policy of The Garden School not to discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, or physical or mental disabilities unrelated to the ability to work or enjoy the benefits of the school’s programs, facilities, or services. Admission to the school is based upon each student’s academic records, personal interviews, observations by our faculty, parent essay questions, teacher recommendations and our admissions testing.
